The numerous glaciers in Norway have carved out equally numerous valleys. Some are steep like canyons, some are rounded and mellow. And in many of the valleys there is a small road and some farmers cultivating the land.
Norway also have vast plains and plateaus, especially in the northern parts of the country. These plains have less infrastructure and parts of the plains are national parks.
